I like to stay around 21-22. You want to hit four quickly but you don't want flooded.

myr galvanizer? Infinite mana is always fun. Also i would include more black sources of mana. You want the Heartless out on T2 if at all possible. Probably want that more then the green.

Also another card that could make things hurt more is Tainted strike. Even if you only get one hit in with it if your constantly proliferating it will give you an alternate wincon.

Like i said not a bad way to go by any means. My point was more that I would do it differently to give myself more options Maybe what this deck needs more than anything is a good sideboard. But if its more for casual play then I won't disagree with the bigger is better mindset. =)

I most cases no. Also i would consider dropping a land or two in favor of a few more cheapbeaters or burn. Mugging is awesome for punching in damage and cards like assault strobe will leave alot of people deader than civalry. The point is to knock em down so fast they have no way of recovering. A big bomb might scare some people but if they have already dealt with your initial assault they may already have an anwer for it. Better to move towards cards that will shut them down before they can find a way to come back.

True. But thats if you have it in your hand. If you run into a situation where you top deck it with an empty hand its a dead card. Or you may have the nade in your hand after a board wipe. In either case a reverb is dead unless the opp tries to burn you out. You may also consider Skullcrack or Browbeat. Life gain gives a deck like this one a real hard time and skull crack can shut that down. Browbeat makes you opp really think. 5 to the face or let you draw 3 more cards. Food for thought. Its not a bad way to go. But there are many other things you can try that will give you more options and better plays against different decks.

I would can the reverb for a couple of Krenko's command. It may make for a nice smack to the face but you will probably run into situations where reverb is just a dead card in your hand, wereas the Krenko's is always relevent.

I would say can the overuns and rancor. The wolf runs should be all you need to punch through.

Any room for a burning-tree emisary? First turn Experiment One into a T2 Burning tree Flinthoof is a pretty rocking start.

i would say mainboard the contagion clasps and maybe pullout some of the bigger bombs like the moonviel. Seems like it wants to go more of an aggro'ey race type deck. Curve out at 4 and the proliferate every turn with the clasp.

Actually i meant that his opponents don't have mana. But he has enough mana dorks up to get around the upkeep for tanglewire.

He runs more of a ramp type with cheap mana elves. Basically he has mana and you don't.

my friend has a deck similar to this and equally annoying. He also likes to take advantage of Tanglewire to lockout any response in the early stages of the game.

I don't like to rain on your parade because i really like your deck. Unfortunatly there is a slight flaw i need to point out. The triggers for Guttersnipe Talrand and charmbreaker specify that you need to CAST a spell. In the above example you are actually only CASTing one spell. The initial Temporal mastery. The additional copies are indeed put on the stack and you get 3 extra turns (off of one card essentially) but those 3 triggers will not activate off of the copies. Unless its something like Cypher where your copy a spell and then cast it Talrand and friends won't bat an eye. Still a cool deck.

Predator ooze can be a big help here. He can attack regardless of your opps board state (thus triggering the repo). He gets bigger and bigger and survives almost any form of removal. Also important that it fills that gap between your dorks and your bigguns. Also some other threats you can add are Elder Wurm and Essence of the wild. Elder Wurm will make it harder for the opponent to kill you if he has stuff to circumvent your bigguns (e.g. burn/invisible stalker/anything with flying) and drawing a Arbor or Pilgrim with the essence of the wild on the board gives you another 6/6 face smasher instead of a 1/1 mana dork...for one mana.

Like what i see but I am wondering about the Electromancer. He doesn't really add much synergy with most of your spells seeing as how the only spell with generic mana in its casting cost is the Spear. Also Hypersonic dragon (while very cool) also doesn't synergize with your spells as most of them are instant speed already. (still a hasted 4/4 flier for 5). Love the Izzet theme though! Favorite guild bar none!

I see, but you might lose rootbound crag (don't know if they verified that the buddy lands will make the reprint) Still those are easily replaced.

love the Nivmagus. Also there is a T2 kill with the blistercoil weird. Requires a total god hand and some slightly different cards but totaly legit. T1: Island, Blistercoil T2: Mountain Hidden strings (untap lands Blistercoil 2/2) Armed (Blistercoil 4/4 Doublestrike) attack, First strike deals 4 hiddenstring triggers (blistercoil 5/5) cast uncanny speed (blistercoil 9/6) normal damage deal 9, trigger hidden strings (blistercoil 10/7) fling!
