Deck discussion for Splinter Twin

it really is not the same after the dig through time banning

interesting take on splinter twin.
I like Kiki-Jiki with deceiver exarch. pretty cool.

I designed a splinter twin deck as well. but it probably isn't as competitive as this one.

yeah, without dig through time its certainly weaker. I run a U/R delver in paper and after the banning thought to find a new-similar deck. while dig made splinter powerful and more consistent it can operate without it than delver does without TC. (IMO)

that is what I keep hearing. :(
win some and lose some I guess. perhaps another card will come out to replace it.

I mean Twin was still a tier 2 deck without dig... I dont see why it wont be again.

Note to self: Add rending volley into sideboard lol

I would almost suggest running combust instead, but using 1 less mana in trade for the sorcery speed is still fairly enticing.

combust is solid no doubt, does take care of seige rhino but rending volley being uncounterable/instant is really valuable in a removal spell. definitely gonna test it

hm... for some reason I read rending volley as a sorcery somehow. so very similar. on second look it appears that really the only difference is the 1 damage for 1 more mana. both can't be countered and are instants.

updated the list after researching a little more in depth but feel its lacking something.... feel like I could update the sideboard into a little more widespread coverage but not sure what to do atm. (don't have graveyard hate, don't have sweepers, don't have removal for larger bodies)

constructive advice always appreciated
