Deck Description

I took a look at a legacy deck that won a tournament back in 2009, and thought to myself what could I put in here to make it something unique for me?
The main deck itself is really solid, with options to lock down most of the formats biggest decks out their, like reanimator when you have chalice out or trinisphere out. Ghostly prison against goblins, chalice for charbelcher, oblivion ring for anything else.
It also occured to me that Knight of the Reliquary with this setup can actually outrace tarmagoyf in some circumstances, especially involving armageddon.
Might replace tanglewire with tormods crypt.
The biggest difference however is in the sideboard.
If I know that for one I can't hand someone who is playing some form of goblins or aggro with a lot of creatures, but I have crucible out and already destroyed his lands, that and he can't get past my ghostly prison I can go ahead and say "well hey I have 1 wrath effect in here, ill just keep the control up until i can wipe them mishra my way home." Or the addition of blind obedience against aggro decks. That and some life gain/drain when im dropping my set peices to lock down.

How to Play

Aggresivly attack the player's ability to play spells.
Your starting hand is the most important part of playing this deck.
When you play it ask yourself. "Can I get some control down t1?"
If the awnser is no, then mulligan. The control starts turn 1 at optimum, although you can afford turn 2 sometimes on the draw its either go big or not at all. Even if you force a force of will, you still thinned their hand and forced them to force of will when they might be depending on a good draw to stabilize anyways. If they force they also still have to contend with factory and other things that can't be countered without stifle.
Ask yourself this, "with this hand can I continue strong into this game?"
The best hand possible for me is ancient tomb, smokestack, trinisphere, any other land, mox diamond, mishra and anything else. By this point dropping stax on t2 is devistating, because they cant cast anything for less than 3, so dark rit is down and they cant have more than 2 lands on the field unless your playing this vintage and they fastbonded before you have the lock down.
They can't even try and mox either because they cost 3 to cast now.
Moral of the story is be a dick early and try to shut them down aggresivly. In this format you cannot afford to be reactionary.
