This is a legacy Burn deck that has been splashed white to run Soulfire Grand Master. It slows the deck down but makes it more resilient.It uses life gain and Ensnaring Bridge to lock down the game. Soulfire Grand Master lets me cast without taking damage from Eidolon of the Great Reveal. I can hide behind a Ensnaring Bridge and Eidolon of the Great Reveal and ping away with Grim Lavamancer. Adding white lets me board in many answers that Burn decks usually lack.Suggestions and Comments Welcome!
Soulfire Grand Master is great because it gives you card advantage in long game, removes the negatives of having Eidolon of the Great Reveal in play and can gain me massive life while still dealing damage. Searing Blaze can potentially net me 6 life while dealing 6 damage. I can worry less about always dealing damage to the opponent and keep his board clear while swinging with Eidolon and Soulfire. My white sideboard gives me answers to decks that burn is weak against. Enlightened Tutor lets me get Ensnaring bridge when its a must in a match up.It also give me more chances to get Leyline of Sanctity in play against combo match ups.Leyline of Sanctity kills combo decks and other burn decks. Containment Priest hurts death and taxes, show and tell, reanimator, Green Sun, ect.Rest in Peace shuts down graveyards based decks and nasty goyfs.
