bladesplicer would seem decent in this... maybe instead of fiend hunter?

i suppose it varies from person to person but i would rather have removal than a 3/3 first strike especially since we now have ancient grudge out. also a theme of the deck seems to be i exile all your permanents.

he runs 3 DoJ main board + 2 gideon... dont know his meta, but seems a decent amount, along side the 4 o-rings... but like you said, in the end it comes down to the person :)

I agree with the splicers, with the hexproof creatures that are being used in more frequency, such as geist of saint traft, a 3/3 first strike blocker would be more efficient than the fiend hunters( plus day of judgment defeats the purpose of a fiend hunter). I run a blue/tempo control deck at fnm and the fiend hunters really disappointed me, i dont run the splicers myself, instead i run 3 midnight hauntings. Seems to work better. Nice deck though. +1 like from me.

thanks guys i hghly appreciate the comments and at the same time the critics, and yup this is not a meta since i really rely on my deck build intuition. Surprises sometimes is the key on winning, unlike the anticipated deck w/c usually is being ruled out by another deck that would caught them off guard. have the comments come in.

if you go to a fnm where you know 2/3 of the ppl are playing token whenie, with st traft - DoJ/splicer seems good to have in the deck... if the last 1/3 plays kessig/ramp then mind control might be good in sideboard... thats what i ment with your meta game, what ppl plays near you... only cool that you bring your own build to the fight ;)

consider some good u/b one drops; mental misstep or delver of secrets to protect you early game. Your mana curve is pretty high so you might not get it off the ground before you lose to decent aggro. Also geist of st taft would be good in place of fiend hunter.
Also ichor wellspring is a great draw engine with venser's bounce
But overall I dig it!
