but the deck is not built around the devotion. Did you know that the previous mono blue and mono black devotion decks did not run four Nyktos?

Because it just is. You're forcing your opponent to discard stuff and then you get a bunch of stuff and it would just be really annoying to play against.
how bout master of the feast allow you to draw more cards when needed sure they get them too but worth it i think
