I wanted to maximize the number of cards that have infect in them to capitalize on the Hand of the Praetors ability to give poison counters when casting those cards.
Also, I want to keep this deck in Standard. Mostly because I've only just gotten back into MtG since having quit when Homelands was released and not wanting to shell out a lot of money for older cards (which is why I had quit in the first place).
It's not bad deck, Something you could consider? possibly Corrupted conscience. Has Enchant creature you control that creature enchanted creature has infect. Blue+Blue+3
Phyresis is also another good card Black+1 enchant creature enchanted creature has infect. then put a combo cards for it. like your thug life cards from back in the day ^,^
