The owner of this deck hasn't added a sideboard, they probably should...

Submit a list of cards below to bulk import them all into your sideboard. Post one card per line using a format like "4x Birds of Paradise" or "1 Blaze", you can even enter just the card name by itself like "Wrath of God" for single cards.

Deck Description

Hello. I'm new to Magic. This is the first deck I'm putting on here. Go easy on me.

I got a Hero of Iroas in a booster pack and kind of fell in love with the card. I searched for aura decks to get ideas. I found Reid Duke's Slippery Bogle deck and decided to go for something similar. I know he has Daybreak Coronet, a sweet card, but just not in the budget currently. This deck has worked really well for me so far, (I play casually with friends) and haven't lost yet. :)

I'm looking for any suggestions or help to make this thing really good. I especially need help in the sideboard. I'm not sure what to put in there as we are always changing our decks when we play. I want this to be the main deck I play but want it to be versatile enough to compete against most others.

Another thing I'd like to consider is how to make this work in a Free For All environment. Maybe it just isn't meant for that, I'm not sure.

Maybe there are some different enchantments or even creatures I'm unaware of too that could help or would just be fun.

How to Play

The goal is to get any of the creatures out and start to attach enchantments to them. Where this deck gets really fast and interesting is when you have a Hero of Iroas or two in play. Clearly Kor Spiritdancer is really great to enchant. But I've used Canopy Cover and Indestructible on Hero of Iroas before and have won with just him in play. In fact I've won with each creature being enchanted on its own.

Ordeal of Heliod is cool on Hero of Iroas - I've used it a few times to get 10 extra life.

Another cool combo I discovered (more by accident) is that I can play Pariah on a creature that already had Spirit Mantle attached to it. It happened once for me and well it definitely helped me win that match. Really pretty cool.

So, you have created an Aura deck here.
It has everyhting in its place, but I could make few changes, mind if I share my ideas?

First of all, you could remove some auras. You don't need that many of them.
You could at least remove Spider Umbra, because reach is not SO great ability after all.
Secondly, you could add some more creatures. Mesa Enchantress and Yavimaya Enchantress go in for a great game.

More removal couldn't also hurt. Oblivion Ring, Journey to Nowhere and Pacifism all can remove annoying creatures from play. Oblivion Ring can even remove many other cards than just creatures!

Edit: By the way, I created green-white aura deck. You can check it out if you want so!
It is called: "Budget Decks: Brohoof /)"

Sweet. Those all makes sense. I'll have to order a couple of cards, which is fine. Luckily I have the Pacifisms and at least one Oblivion Ring so I can switch those in immediately. Also, I did order 4 Prison Term. I think that it would be really nice to have in multiplayer. Usually I end up playing 2v2 or a 4 -6 person FFA. Think those make sense in a multiplayer environment? Anything come to mind for those formats that could offer greater benefit?

At least aura decks are always nice to play in casual format with friends.
And auras are often great in multiplayer too!
You can even enchant your friend's creatures if he/she needs some buff up or other nice abilities.

And about Prison Term... I have always thought that it is completely overpowered super-card.

cards i suggest taking out and its more of a personal selection.

indestructablity x2
canopy cover x2
pariah x2
unquestioned authority x2
ordeal of heliod x2

add
ranco x1
kore spiritdancer x1
armadilo cloak x2
spirit mantle x2
ledgewalker x2
arrest x2

if u can get 4 oblivion rings i think they would be better than arrest. also really try to get ur hands on mesa enchantress 4 of them in here would be crazy powerful in this deck. they should be pretty cheap to get too. maybe a buck or two if anything. slippery bogle would a drop i would do for the enchantress.
