It's mostly a deck to mess with friends. But the general way of winning is to shut down every thing they can use to win/kill platinum angle and either win after slowly beating them to death or let them draw themselves to death.

In case you are unaware, the Honden enchantments only count cards that have the shrine subtype (i.e. only the other honden). So the cards that have shrine in their name won't bolster their affect.
