Deck Description

Use your bank account on nearest MtG marketplace website and buy some cheap cards, craft a deck, and challenge your friends! To double the fun, ask your friend to create such a deck too!
The Budget Decks -series is meant for your free time! These are meant to inspire you, and deck's value is meant to be low! (Between 10 and 20 bucks.)

How to Play

Its standard and cheap!
This deck tries to overwhelm opposition by sacrificing some creatures.

-Maw of the Obzedat is kinda cool if you have few creatures, since you gain massive buff just by sacrificing some of your creatures!
-Cartel Aristocrat is awesome after she is buffed up with auras.
-Doomed Traveler is always hilarious to sacrifice.

Deck discussion for Budget Decks: Aggro Orzhov

Please take note to function competitively in a format such as standard. Your deck must be at the very least $50.00 (Mono-Red Burn) take note that is the cheapest of any standard decks to win a Grand Pix, Pro Tour, or Place Top in FNM. There is no such thing as a competitive budget deck. Now saying that I am not saying a budget deck can't do well and be functional. I myself have helped newer or advancing (by advancing I mean players who played at the kitchen table, but never went to FNM or played competitively.) magic players into the world of FNM and later Some into Star City Open Series. Sorry to say but your deck lacks that functionality that makes a deck playable I recommend you look up some advanced deck building techniques online specifically on the following terms; Curve, Removal, Deck Synergy, Speed, Flexibility, Creature Base (If applicable), Mana Base (Something I personally take pride in.) and while thinking of all of that remember both your decks theme and Type; Aggro, Control, Mid-Range, Etc. Hope that helps and remember to check my decks for any help and to read Articals on www.starcitygames.com they are always full of helpful information and different player perspectives. I am here to answer questions aswell feel free to ask.

I'll know that this crap won't win any tournaments, but I'm not creating these decks because of that.
I'm creating decks that people would create with their own money and have better free-time with their friends.

I have ever been in tournament, nor even in FNM, but still MtG is my favourite hobby. I'm always looking new ways to annoy or just beat up my own friends in MtG, I don't care about those silly tournaments.
And think about this: "If we use only the new cards in our decks, what do we do with the old ones?"

Now you are surely thinking: "Why does he create STANDARD decks just to play casual games?"
Well, my brother (who also plays MtG), always wants deck that is as standard as possible, even when he doesn't go to those tournaments. And... if my brother likes to play casual with deck like that, I think that someone else would also like...

How is it? I don't know.

Don't even listen to him NothernWarlord. I love all your budget decks you make. They are extremely fun and so so so cheap. I've bought at least 4 of the decks you've made already and I've only now discovered your page yesterday. For only a few dollars I can have a pretty fun themed deck with some fun combos that will kick some butt playing against my friends. I love the creativity you put into your decks and how everything seems to work together and still be so cheap. And I do believe these decks can be competitive. Yea so what they are not a $500 dollar deck. They can still hold their own and pull out some crazy surprises. So keep up the awesome work and don't listen to trolls.

Possibly bone splinters can become launch party if you can afford 4 mana.

Bone Splinters is Standard playable because it is 2 mana or less. Which is a Standard rule of thumb 2 mana or less for removal. Doom Blade and Bone Splinters are playable under competitive standard guidelines I strongly recommend using those instead of Launch Party. An example how tight the two mana or less rule is. Competitive Standard decks don't Use Murder. Because it's 3 mana and the double solid black doesn't help it's case either. The only exception to running it is Mono Black Control.

I'll remove one Launch Party and one land to afford two Bone Splinters.
