Hey Northy, I know this is an old deck, but I ordered it and most if the cards are here, and I was thinking about splashing red for a Xenagod and Xenawalker. How do you splash? I've heard people use the term, but what does it mean and how do I do it?
"Splashing" means that you add some cards of other color into it. You remove few cards in order to add cards of other color that go well with the deck's strategy. You have to switch some of the lands too.If I would have to splash some red here, I would remove at least one Vastwood Hydra, one Karametra's Acolyte, one Crowned Ceratok and one Savage Summoning.
so im planning to get two temple of abandon, and 1 Nylea, and 2 Xena Walker. how many mountains should I put o=in, and what else would you recommend throwing in for the red side?
If you are trying to be standard, Signal the Clans gets you semi-random creature, and I think it is pretty cool.And about lands... If you get two temples, and you are adding two Xenagoses in, I recommend adding something about 5 mountains so you will get one mountain or one temple every game.

Well, Clan Defiance is pretty deadly card if you have lot of mana.In the other hand, you'll most surely have a lot of mana in a hydra deck. Especially when you run Xenagos.
