Yes superkeeper, I know you ordered an Eldrazi deck. It is next on my MTG Vault What-to-do-list.
Don't ya worry.

No need for both Winged Sliver and Belligerent Sliver. Choose one(Winged Sliver). Maybe do a Sliver Overlord or Sliver Queen. Do your thing, man. Do your thing.

Not gonna add those five-colored budget breakers, but I can remove Belligerent Sliver.
Though I do like to use few different kinds of cards so my decks could withstand cards like Slaughter Games or Memoricide. Also it brings some sweet diversity to this deck, which I believe rainbows are all about.

But I do get your point. Swapping some cards right now.

If you are facing another sliver deck, they have flying too. It is better to have both, so only YOUR creatures can only be double blocked. That way if your opponent has flying and you don't, you don't die, and if your opponent has more slivers than you you still can hit them. My personal favorite sliver would be Bonesythe Sliver. But I understand if that is not your goal.

Did you consider Diffusion Sliver? I think he's pretty dope, atleast in the sideboard. I love me some Slivers, good job!

Good suggestion.

I would actually drop winged sliver and throw in the diffusion but then again that's also because I play modern so winged is a no-no anyways.

I've loved playing Venom Sliver with striking sliver, you can't beat first strike/deathtouch.

Exactly.

Maybe add venom sliver then? However I have no idea what to take out.

Galerider instead of winged?

It's literally the same thing but (1) cheaper and legal in Modern, making the whole deck Modern.

I can't speak exactly for Northern, but I am pretty sure that is excluded because it is rare. Every card is common or uncommon which is what makes Northern's decks so awesome.

@dainir Now I'm not one to speak on someone's behalf either, but I think it's because the card costs 4$. Swapping out the Winged Slivers for Galerider Slivers would raise the deck price by 12$, thus taking it out of his budget range.

Both dainir and RobM are right.
Though my main reason was budget, just like RobM said.

I could say that I avoid using rares. I usually don't add more than 4-6 rares per deck around here, since most of them work as finishers or something like that. Rares often cost a lot of mana or money. Mythic Rares I use rarely in my budget decks, and I use them only if they are cheap and they really combo with the deck's theme.
On the other hand, sometimes it is nice to "break limits" a bit. As example, I really like to throw a whole bunch of rares into my EDH decks...

Sorry about that folks, I didn't check the price tag on galerider before suggesting it!

Coalition Victory maybe? Drop might sliver and a winged sliver to add a full set of gem hide and mana weft. You will need them.

Coalition Victory is pretty hilarious suggestion. I'll add it to the sideboard right now. I would love to add more of those mana slivers too, but my budget won't allow it. They just cost too much.

Yeah, if you are trying to keep it under $20 they are a little pricey. I just don't like might sliver. He costs too much mana to play for my taste.

I would sb Sentinel Sliver, it does nothing against some decks. Maybe put some combat tricks or conterspells instead of it. Maybe more Might Slivers.
I'd put Sliver Hivelord in there but that might upp the price a bit too much.

Hivelord to the sideboard.

On another note, I love slivers :D You can put Galerider Sliver in here instead of Winged Sliver. It costs one less, and it only gives your slivers flying.

AND it's modern, but iguess it isn't there cause it is 4 bucks a piece i think

Never been a fan of rainbow as far as it goes with Slivers...I also don't care too much for Slivers haha. This looks fun though. Happy New Year everyone!

I have a challenging deck for you northern,

can you build a rainbow defenders deck?

just for fun. Im sure you can do it.

0

Yeah. I can do it. I can't say how good it'll be though.

Nice deck North. I know it's a budget deck and I'm not sure about prices but if you dropped Winged Sliver for Galerider Sliver this deck would be modern legal. That being said, I think for budget your best approach would be aggressive aggro, so here's my suggestions..

Drop a Striking Sliver and 3 Winged Slivers for 4 Galerider Slivers (If it's still within budget, drop Striking for Bonescythe)
Drop Sentinel and a Might Sliver for 4 Sinew Slivers
Drop a Blur and Battle Sliver for 2 Venom Slivers

Anyway, I'll leave a +1 Like for you. I know my decks aren't budget (built for competitive play) but I'd appreciate your feedback on the Sliver deck I recently posted on here..
