Deck Description

Are you bored? Does Magic: The Gathering feel old and vapid? Got any useless bucks in your bank account? Ladies and Gentlemen, I have solution.
Use your bank account on nearest MtG marketplace website and buy some cheap cards, craft a deck, and challenge your friends! To double the fun, ask your friend to create such a deck too!
The Budget Decks -series is meant for your free time! These are meant to inspire you, and deck's value is meant to be low! (Between 10 and 20 bucks.)

How to Play

Inspired by my little brother.
Your glorious attacks will show your opponents their places.
This soldier deck strikes deadly blows both above and belove your opponent's belt. These "above belt" -attacks are perfomed early game, attacking with few small creatures.
The "below belt" -attacks are done late game with great mob of soldiers seasoned with some buff up.

-Swordsmith, Armorsmith, Pikemaster, Warchief and Captain of the Watch are the buffers of the deck. They all provide you with small amounts of buff up, so getting many of them in play will quicken up your opponents defeat.

Deck discussion for Budget Decks: Soldier-Boyz

thats really weird... I was also about to make a deck identical to this...

on a different subject, do you think you could make a friday budget deck for U/W spirits and B/R vampires? i would be extremely grateful.

Friday Budget... I'm afraid that's gonna take couple of weeks, unless I create an extra bunch of them...
But I think I can make exception this time.

Done. I made two decks.
"Sunday Budget: Scent of Night" and "Sunday Budget: Spooky Spirits".

Nice deck XD
Now, if you have the budget, maybe replace Elite Inquisitor with Precinct Captain; add Captain's Call on sideboard?

Also, some nice cards that can come into this deck (assuming within budget, that is XD): Odric (soo many creatures) and Martial Coup (late game fieldwipe + soldier tokens)

Hey Northie. For a while I've been interested in making a Dredge deck but haven't been able to start one.
I can use your infinite wisdom on such a deck.
Think you can give some input for me? Thx!

You want me to create deck, or want me to inspire you?
Because I've already made at least one Dredge deck if I remember correctly. You can use it to inspire yourself...

Inspire me. Maybe suggest a few cards that would be ideal to build a deck around.

Budget cards are Gnaw to the Bone, Worm Harvest, Splinterwright and maybe even cards like Spitting Image or Dread Return. They don't have dredge, but they work awesomely with it.
The best dredge card there exists is Life from the Loam. It is a pricey, but it is just pure, 100%, incredibly, awesome. Other great dredge cards are Stinkweed Imp and Golgari Grave-Troll.

Those were some suggestions. Hope at least some of them helped.

Hey Northern... I've managed to build a dredge deck, but I'd like your opinion.
