Deck Description

This is only one half of the duel deck. Below is link to the another:

Are you bored? Does Magic: The Gathering feel old and vapid? Got any useless bucks in your bank account? Ladies and Gentlemen, I have solution.
Use your bank account on nearest MtG marketplace website and buy some cheap cards, craft a deck, and challenge your friends! To double the fun, ask your friend to create such a deck too!
The Budget Decks -series is meant for your free time! These are meant to inspire you, and deck's value is meant to be low! (Between 10 and 20 bucks.)

Notice to the commentors:
This is a DUEL DECK. That means it is mostly meant to face the other side of it. Try to understand that the card in the deck picture is the "boss-card" of the deck, and like in every duel deck, there is supposed to be only one of those cards.
I also do not like editing duel decks afterwards.

How to Play

"Watch your back."
-Valeera Sanguinar, Rogue

Use your sneaky rogues to pass through of your opponent's defenses and cast some annoying spells to finish them off. Try deal as much damage as possible before your opponent manages to spawn those huge monsters.

Deck discussion for Budget Duel: Rogue vs Druid

Once again, very solid deck.
Unblockable creatures, pump, card draw, disruption, creature hate, and lifegain. Nice.

I know you won't change it, but Terror over the Assassinate. It is less mana, and of course you don't have to wait until after one of those Pelakka Wurm attacks you.

For sure, with more of Seal of Removals and running the 4 Assassinates...the poor Druids, I feel for them!

Thank you for suggestions, but guess I'm keeping the Assassinates. It is more flavor-wise, and as you said, the druids already are going to have a bad time even without Terror.

Very true point. :)

I want to do a flavor inspired theme deck.
Maybe William Shakespeare...wonder if there is enough cards with his quotes on them?

Or I could try to do a famous writers deck. :)

Not sure how i would find the cards though. Some sort of Gatherer search could maybe give me a list of cards that have quotes as flavor text.

instead of Seal of Removal, Sigil of Sleep?

Sigil of Sleep would be too powerful against the druids, and after all, these two are supposed to fight against each other.

Really? No hidden strings shenanigans? Come on Norhty! :)

I love the deck. Especially those prowl costs.

I have this weird feeling that druids ain't got a chance against this deck already...

True ... I think I should help that deck out a little ....

Maybe a cleric damage prevention deck could make a stand against this deck, but not a green druid deck. The latter is more suited to a brawl with a red shaman deck ...
