The owner of this deck hasn't added a sideboard, they probably should...

Submit a list of cards below to bulk import them all into your sideboard. Post one card per line using a format like "4x Birds of Paradise" or "1 Blaze", you can even enter just the card name by itself like "Wrath of God" for single cards.

Deck Description

This is only one half of the duel deck. Below is link to the another:

Are you bored? Does Magic: The Gathering feel old and vapid? Got any useless bucks in your bank account? Ladies and Gentlemen, I have solution.
Use your bank account on nearest MtG marketplace website and buy some cheap cards, craft a deck, and challenge your friends! To double the fun, ask your friend to create such a deck too!
The Budget Decks -series is meant for your free time! These are meant to inspire you, and deck's value is meant to be low! (Between 10 and 20 bucks.)

Notice to the commentors:
This is a DUEL DECK. That means it is mostly meant to face the other side of it. Try to understand that the card in the deck picture is the "boss-card" of the deck, and like in every duel deck, there is supposed to be only one of those cards.
I also do not like editing duel decks afterwards.

Lore:

Ib took his scout's spyglass.
"Where is this wagon we are after?" he asked.
"The wagon should be here any moment now", answered the scout quickly. Ib was a respected goblin, so not many dared to speak to him for long.
Goblin matrons had begged Ib to look for more food since the amount of food in the goblin warrens had been low for quite a while now. Ib's scouts had found out that nearby village's soldiers would be transporting a supply wagon through the mountain gorge that belonged to the goblins. The spot was too good to just let be. The goblins would just have to surprise attack the wagon, kill a couple of guards and steal the food! What could be any more simple?
"Remember boys! If we don't get the food now, our caverns are going to have some bad times. And I REALLY mean bad with 'bad'!" Ib shouted to goblin warriors around him. Warriors nodded and some crumbling of stomach was heard among them.

Just a few minutes later they saw it: a wagon slowly rolled on a treacherous mountain path with several guards around it. Ib and his troops were hiding above, on a nearby ledge. They weren't spotted yet.
"Wait until the wagon is close to our spot. Then let's show 'em who is the boss around here!" said Ib to his troops. Warriors around him nodded and grinned.
When the wagon was below their ledge, Ib gave the command and everybody charged. With maniac shrieking and whirling daggers all around them, the soldiers were quickly overwhelmed.

"Good job boys!" cheered Ib. "Let's see what we got, shall we?"
One of Ib's warriors cracked the wooden door from the wagon and looked inside.
"Hey boss, since when do food barrels bear such funny sparky ropes?"
Ib glanced towards one small barrel his warrior was holding. There was a lit fuse in top of the barrel which was about to go off.
"Everybody down!" shrieked Ib.
The warrior who was holding the barrel didn't understand what was going on and was caught in the explosion. The whole wagon blew up, tearing a huge piece of the mountain path with it. Ib barely made it out of the danger zone in time.

Suddenly war cries were everywhere. Soldiers in shining armors were descending from above with ropes. Ib shrieked to his nearby scout that was still alive:
"Go quickly inform wardrivers and dragon-agitators! We need reinforcements NOW!"

How to Play

Inspired by HorizonBlue.

Drive the soldiers back!
Cast a whole horde of goblins to the field, then use buff up cards of other ways to take advantage from your goblins.

Remember to kill all the nasty foes with killing spells like Goblin Grenades and Lightning Strikes. Also Smash can handle annoying artifacts that soldiers throw to the field.

Deck discussion for Budget Duel: Soldier - Goblin

I'm really sorry, I know you don't like editing duel decks, but at least 1 krenko in the sideboard, and it would fit in the lore, like he is the reinforcement, and I could find an equivalent card for the other part of this deck, but otherwise, this deck rocks!
Also, sorry I haven't been on for a while, I was busy

Is this supposed to be built like a regular MTG duel deck? Because if so, that is ALOT of rares. If not, I love it.

I do not create my duel decks around the same idea as Wizards do. I create two different decks that I would like to see fight each other. Or, in this case, I was suggested to do so.

I also don't like that Wizards always throw like 1 copy of most cards to duel decks.

Oh, ok I was just checking. Since we're not running it that way, I can totally say that both decks are decks I would love to duel against each other. I'm highly considering getting them both to teach my friend how to play!

How about Hordeling Outburst? That would be a solid card in this deck.

I originally had it, but I had to remove it thanks to budget reasons.

Your budget theme decks continue to inspire me. Thank you for your efforts-I know we are all learning a lot.

I recently started a five deck budget series format based on the Theros Ordeals, if you get a chance-come thro and take a look-there is a description with each deck.

Definitely something I would recommend to a new player who wanted to make a goblin deck cheap.
Good job.
Perhaps you could add non budget deck to the side board. Cheap vs Expensive lists.
