the idea with the forge would just be using kuldotha to find it, but it is expensive still, and unrequired with the lich and worldslayer. It would only make all your permanents indestructible, but everything would become an artifact.

I'd add in tempting licid. Just seems to have slightly more utility than lure.
Not sure what elvish piper is doing in this deck.... It's a good card, just doesn't belong here.

The deck normally hits pretty fast. Your right, should add Avacyn, Angel of Hope, but I only have one copy, which is used in my Sisay EDH deck - I actually ripped this deck apart, as a load of the creatures made fairly good commanders, or did better in other decks.

Sheoldred, dommgape and yosei pretty much allow lockdown of an opponent. Throw in Butcher of Malakir, and say bye bye to opponents creatures while locked down. Elesh Norn tends to just screw people over. Iona is just an asshole, as is Jin-Gitaxias.

Sun Titan lets me recur my animate dead and dance of the deads.

Around 10% of the time, this deck goes off on turn 1, with swamp, dark ritual, putrid imp, big creature, and reanimate/dance of the dead/animate dead. It usually takes until around turn 3 though, for a fatty to hit the board, which is usually quick enough to kick most other decks.

might add 1 Kuldotha Forgemaster, 1 darksteel forge, and 1 mycosynth lattice, just for the extra combo goodness. Not sure if it would actually add anything as much as take away, but fun.

Very nice deck, like the idea behind it.

Very nice! I'd love to play this against my reanimator, think it would be a close run thing!

could add captain sisay in here, he can pull out a fair amount to your hand for the elvish pipers to sling in. Not sure how much this would add to it though - defense of the heart does well enough.

rune-scarred demon would work, lets u get a big flyer and tutor ur next card.
yosei, the morning star interacts with sheoldred and a sac outlet(doomgape works and is a fatty) to perma tap ur opponents.

Can check out my reanimator, let me know what ya think:

Built an infinite persist EDH which works by around turn 6 on average, using Ghaveas commander.

Very nice deck. I don't tend to play life gain decks much, but I have a few suggestions. Firstly, I think remove serra avatar for purity. you only have 20 mana, so would take on average drawing 21 cards to have the mana to play it. Wouldn't bother adding celestial force.
I'd also include at least one more felidar sovereign, since with this deck, thats pretty awesome.
I might also include an academy rector, and some enchants such as o-ring/faith's fetters and boon reflection/cradle of vitality.
Would prob also include a couple more rhox faithmenders, maybe even 4. Seems like an awesome card, especially if you get multiples on the board, or boon reflection with them.

First of all, I really like this deck. Kinda makes me want to build my own vampire EDH. I do have some suggestions, make what you will of them:
notice you use doomsday here, presumably for the exquisite blood + sanguine bond combo?
a whispersilk cloak might not go amiss, to help protect Olivia, or one of your larger creatures.
not sure about dash hopes in this, will prove useful in some instances. I'd think that it wouldn't be that good, because not many games end with two players on 5 or less life. Be more useful in multi-player games I'd think, I tend to play a lot of 2 player edh games.
howling mine doesn't seem to aid you hugely. Maybe replace with a similar draw card such as bitterblossom, although then you do have the loss of life, but also numerous 1/1 flyers.
you have a couple of cards included twice as well.
mindslaver is a good card, but not sure the 10 mana cost really deserves a spot over another vampire or vamp buff.

add in feast of blood, quag vampires, rakish heir, urge to feed, victim of night.

You also have far too much mana for a two color deck, lacking X spells. Think about reducing to around 39. Might also add accelerants in form of signet and sol ring.

A good deck, but needs a bit of refinement.

I like the look of this deck. There are certain opponents where this will do awesomely, and others where it will suck ass.

I run a captain Sisay EDH, and this would undoubtedly destroy it 9 times out of 10.

I also run a red burn deck using Myojin of Infinite Rage, which loses near every time to Captain Sisay, but would likely destroy this deck, as the general is practically never played...

Overall, Galina draws the hate! EDH decks are built generally to use/abuse the commander, and Galina takes that away from every deck! So although this may be a good deck, I could see it getting smashed every time in multiplayer, unless some scumbags running a reliable infinite combo deck and gets targetted first ....

I'd be interested in your experiences of playing this. Do people in your group target you straight away?

This looks alright, I'd like to see how it actually does in play test.

I've created a similar Ghave EDH deck here:

Trying to make a robust EDH infinite combo deck - tried a few different combo engines, but the one with the most interoperability abuses persist mechanic.

My build is given below:

I'd appreciate any comments or suggestions on how to improve this.

nice idea, that covers its ass well. The lack of attack makes it somewhat vulnerable, as you'll be having to slowly whittle away opponents life.

And while you've protected things, it is still vulnerable to non-targetting spells.

I'd splash blue, and include 4* aura thief, as well as a few academy rectors.

Hope this helps

This is a very nice idea. Other cards I would add to this, which aid the mechanic, are deep sea kraken, fury charm, jhoira's timebug (must must must have!!!), rift elemental, shivan sandmage, timebender and timecrafting.

I'd also include things like Arcanis, the omnipotent, and that blue sphinx (I forget the name) that lets you draw cards easily.

Probably also worth including some more removal, since by the very nature of suspend, this will take longer to get going.

I like the idea, but think there are too many holes in this. Its likely to do badly against large numbers of creatures as Mercedes said, any control style deck, and any mass destroy deck. 8 creatures to attack with, and those don't even get good for a long time.

Nice try, but I think you need to hit the drawing board again on this.

griselbrand.... Thats one prime demon which should be included.
Iona can often prove to be a game winning card, so up to 4 of those.
I'd also remove empyrial archangel. By the time you get it out, your in a winning position anyway, so the ability doesn't add much. A better choice in my view would be angel of despair, but depends on ur opponents' deck.

Yeah, I know what Kaalia does.

You have about a 60% chance to have Kaalia/Tutor by turn 4-5, and thats the first thing you really do (taking into account land, casting cost, and tutoring)

And before that, you will prob have 1 or 2 removals.. Kaalia is too weak here, and needs more protection. Soon as Kaalia gets butt raped, which she will against any self-respecting deck, you've all but lost.

The whispersilk cloak is nice, but if you can't equip as soon as she comes out, prob be too late.

I'd include a couple of day of judgement here, and maybe some mana ramp in form of signets.

I like the idea of this deck, but Kaalia was released for commander, and in my view, thats where she should stay.

Not sure this will really work..

I think there are 2 approaches to this. 4*Guile or persist + melira + blood funnel + some cheap spells.
