Thanks for the input - Street Spasm could find a way into the sideboard, but I don't like that it doesn't deal with flyers.
Do you mean dynacharge for the one beginning with d?

I think this deck will get pwned in tournament play. Firstly, Jund appears to be attracting a lot of attention, and I've reviewed quite a few Jund style decks in the past week.

The main trend is there is a lot of destroy... A hell of a lot.. There is also quite a bit of GY hate, and that may be where you face some real issues with this deck.

The lol troll may be easy to get early on, and beef up, but in doing so your losing card advantage. Not only that, but the fact that there is a lot of removal this cycle means he's gonna get blasted, and the GY hate will stop you using him, or any of the creatures u discarded to power up.

Gravecrawler will also become locked down by the GY hate...

Vraska the unseen is reasonable at best here. I'm not sure he's really necessary. Maybe sideboard him - I wouldn't ever play 4 vraska against another Jund deck, since he'll just get dreadbored. Rogue's passage is pretty poor, and the 4 cost to make a creature unblockable could be better used elsewhere.

You have no wipe here - I'd prob add some mizzium mortars. Another thing would be to SB 4 rakdos charms, to help that GY hate.

Desecration demon I see being a big thing in Jund. The miriad of destroy spells, going alongside him make it very hard for your opponent to lock him down. They'll need a kill spell to handle him (which they'll prob have). I would prob lose some of the scavengers, add in a bit more destroy, and then add 4 * lumberknot. The hexproof will do him very well, and he'll grow as you destroy the opposition.

Overall, I think this deck has some work to do yet to really get it competitive, but this is a nice start.

I hope you find this comment useful.

Thanks for the input on this. After viewing quite a few other tournament quality decks, this one will not hit the mark. The agressive Jund strategy, and RTR GY hate will make this ineffective, so back to the drawing board for me!

I'm not too sure about this.. I know Lotleth Troll can be very powerful, especially early on, but I think it is easy to overextend by discarding creatures, just to have the troll killed. And the discarding won't pay off later, since there is so much GY hate in RTR.

The deathrite shaman acts as a nice lifegainer, controlling your opponents GY, and removing any of the creatures killed with your myriad of destroy spells, so definitely keep this.

This set has a lot of removal, so I'd think about some of the hexproof creatures especially lumberknot and thrun, since your going destroy heavy. That will let you control the board, whilst empowering your own creatures.

I like the look of this deck. Very nice

Based on standard builds I've looked at recently, I don't think Golgari is going to hold up. Everyone seems to sideboard some graveyard hate, and have a lot of destroy/control. I think Golgari will get pwned, but can't be certain.

Due to that GY hate, I'd be tempted to lose the dreg mangler, and perhaps a couple of goliaths in favour of desecration demons. 4 mana for a 6/6 flyer is awesome. And the tap ability won't have much affect on you, as you have so many destroy effects to handle their creatures. It also gets around opponents hating on ur scavengers, but does leave itself rather open.

Not that I don't think it will work, exactly the opposite. This deck looks really good, well done!

I think this deck will do well against Selesnya/Golgari. The graveyard hate, and plentiful destroy will keep control of the game until you can land one of ur 6 big creatures and start hitting.

However, I think it will have problems against other rakdos decks, which are heavy in destruction - You're unlikely to get many creatures during the game, and if they can each be quickly dealt with, that leaves you in a sticky situation.

Playing against Izzet may also be an issue. Think you'll get fairly quickly locked down, before you have a chance to get good things out, such as your desecration demon.

I think the biggest issue you'll have with this deck is creatures with hexproof and toughness 5 or higher, since you have no way to deal with them besides cyclonic rift, which is temporary. Things like Sigaarda.

Overall, looks like a pretty good deck - but then I don't play standard, so could be way off the mark!
Feel free to check out my Golgari deck - after seeing this, I think it may struggle.

I have never noticed the link to buy cards on here before... I think because I'm so used to just blanking anything which looks remotely advert like.

I would love to start contributing a bit, but purchasing from Ideal808 is expensive on shipping (I live in the UK). Perhaps you could link to an alternative site for users logging on from other countries? Then I'd be much happier to make purchases through your preferred retailer.

All that said, this site rocks! Thanks for do such a great job keeping it all up to date!

pssh, I review a few decks each day, and I say what I see. If I've missed things, by all means point them out to me.

I see far too many comments on crappy decks saying they're great, so hey. And if you wanna check out my decks and slag them off, by all means do so - I shalln't complain.

Perhaps calling you an arsehole pushed things a bit far. But I really hate panoptic mirror + time stretch, so there you have it.

And yeah, this deck will prob work reasonably in most instances, but still kinda boring ;)

good idea! Might just build something like that with some of the evoke creatures.

Thanks for the input!

kinda boring. A lot of destroy land and creatures, but no real win cons.
What it needs on top of this is a way to win without the opponent having creatures. And not with 1 damage a turn through frostwielder/anaba shaman.
And did you include the panoptic mirror/time stretch combo just to be a arsehole?

boring. To play as, or against.

Infinite mana abuse combo's, with a couple of cards to win...

How did this get so many likes..? These top spots should be reserved for great decks, not shitty posts with hundreds of deck listings.

If you want your decks reviewed, how about you go review some others... And btw, there is a search function for that, so this post is pointless. Now I'm gonna go review some decks.

Since you're depending on genesis wave, I'd add a couple of boundless realms. Given appropriate ramp, you should be able to play it around turn 5, for a turn 6 genesis wave into 3 or 4 large creatures straight into play.

thanks for the advice on this - I have included in my deck a lightning greaves, and whispersilk cloak (but not updated this list...). Aspect of mongoose also provides good protection for creatures, and saffi eriksdotter some level of protection.
General's Kabuto is expensive for what it does, so prob wouldn't include it.
Not sure about spirit mantle in terms of protecting Sisay - he will usually be taken out by other spells, as opposed to creatures/abilities. It is very nice for attacking and being unblocked with one of the bigger creatures, but if your at that stage, there isn't much to worry about.
Champion's helm is nice - not quite as nice as whispersilk cloak, but still could find a place here.
Swiftfoot boots is great, and could well be included.
Don't like mask of avacyn too much - I feel the equip cost is quite restrictive, although this deck is built to get out a lot of mana.
darksteel plate i would not include. Although indestrucibility is nice, hexproof is much better.

I'll update my decklist to include some of these later/tomorrow. Since this is a pretty accurate reflection of the actual deck build, I will not be including any of these extra protection pieces yet - not until I actually own copies of the cards (i only current have whispersilks and greaves)

But thanks very much for the input, tis much appreciated!

Nice deck, I like the look of it. Would still be slightly worried about speed in 1v1, but you've already said this is a multiplayer deck, so thats fine.

Planar birth works nicely with Zuran Orb - might be tempted to include one.

Don't think exploding borders works that well. Not great ramp, and the damage isn't really the main aim of the deck. It also then makes your ramp spell red reliant, rather than having green as a sole ramp color. I'd sooner include 4 cultivate in place of it.

I'd even be tempted with this to put in a maelstrom nexus.

Overall though, very nice:)
