Deck Description

Sisay used to get big creatures. Lots of mana to play them. Some extra stuff, to provide some defense, protection and control - oblivion ring, predator flagship, nim deathmantle, umbras.

Also some cheaper ways to get the bigger creatures into play, with elvish piper, quicksilver amulet, and defense of the heart. Would like to add Tooth and Nail, as well as Primeval Titan, but don't have copies of those.

All suggestions welcome on how to improve this.

Deck discussion for Captain Sisay and his bastards

Soon to include Avacyn, Angel of Hope.

Some more cards to help guard Sisay would be very nice for this deck. Such as:
General's Kabuto
Whispersilk Cloak
Champion's Helm
Lightning Greaves
Swiftfoot Boots
Mask of Avacyn
Darksteel Plate
Spirit Mantle

I know my playgroup has a lot of creature removal focus and I rarely can keep my General out without some good protection.

Besides that the deck looks good!

thanks for the advice on this - I have included in my deck a lightning greaves, and whispersilk cloak (but not updated this list...). Aspect of mongoose also provides good protection for creatures, and saffi eriksdotter some level of protection.
General's Kabuto is expensive for what it does, so prob wouldn't include it.
Not sure about spirit mantle in terms of protecting Sisay - he will usually be taken out by other spells, as opposed to creatures/abilities. It is very nice for attacking and being unblocked with one of the bigger creatures, but if your at that stage, there isn't much to worry about.
Champion's helm is nice - not quite as nice as whispersilk cloak, but still could find a place here.
Swiftfoot boots is great, and could well be included.
Don't like mask of avacyn too much - I feel the equip cost is quite restrictive, although this deck is built to get out a lot of mana.
darksteel plate i would not include. Although indestrucibility is nice, hexproof is much better.

I'll update my decklist to include some of these later/tomorrow. Since this is a pretty accurate reflection of the actual deck build, I will not be including any of these extra protection pieces yet - not until I actually own copies of the cards (i only current have whispersilks and greaves)

But thanks very much for the input, tis much appreciated!
