Deck Description

My very first deck.
Started out playing MTG a month ago, and I'm really getting into it.
Still feeling for what kind of play style I like, I shift from White to Green to Red mostly.

Wanted to build a deck that is Standard: Theros and could get a lot of creatures out dealing damage, and as I'm told, White takes care of the former; Red the latter.
So here I present my W/R Heroes of Akros deck.

Please comment on any suggestions, changes, or insights for this deck, thanks!
Remember, must be Theros Block :D

How to Play

The goal of the deck is to pop <Akroan Crusader>'s Heroic, and <God-Favored General>'s Inspired to get a bunch of Human Soldiers out, then slowly chip away at the opponent's life with them and to power up <Akroan Hoplite> and <Eidolon of Countless Battles>.
Getting <Cavalry Pegasus> onto the battlefield as well as popping <Anax and Cymedes>' Heroic helps for buffing up the heroes.

Assuming the opponent won't be blocking your seemingly little hitters here's the plan:

On Turn 1:
You want to be able to play Akroan Crusader, or Nyxborn Rollicker.

On Turn 2 (1 creature) you could:
Play any of the above, and/or Pop Akroan Crusader's Heroic or,
Bestow NR to pop AC's Heroic or,
Play Cavalry Pegasus, or God-Favored General.

On Turn 3 (2 creatures) you could:
Play any of the above or,
If you played God-Favored General, tap him so that...

On Turn 4 (at least 3 creatures) you could:
Pay God-Favored General's Inspired cost to get 5 creatures or,
Play Eidolon of Countless Battles or Akroan Hoplite or,
Play any of the above.

On Turn 5 (at least 4 creatures) you could:
Wreak havoc.

*Acolyte's Reward is pretty helpful for any time opponent may try to block you, and would trigger Heroic. Could also be used if you're playing defensive I guess.
*Getting Cavalry Pegasus up early really helps lessening the risk of you getting blocked.
*Everyone of the Creatures will get flying except for the Enchantment Creatures. To circumvent that you could always bestow it to a Human creature first if you're wary of being blocked.

Deck discussion for Heroes of Akros

Phalanx Leader would be something to add. Take two God-Favored Generals, and put in two PL's...or all four. If you can get any, Brimaaz, King of Oreskos is really good. Some Chained to the Rocks, at least in the sideboard, give some control if you need it. I would switch out the Nyxborn Shieldmate with Nyxborn Rolliker, both to even out the Red to White some, and also bring the cost down a little on bestow. Anouther heroic token source could be Vangaurd of Brimaz.

Thanks for the input, I'll check out those cards but probably won't be getting Brimaaz or any of the other Cat Soldiers but mainly it's cause it would be nice to maximise the effect of the Pegasi, but I'll still check'm out.

Then Phalanx Leader is definitely a go to card, since he buffs all your creatures if you buff him.

Yeah Phalanx looks pretty legit, added to the deck along with replacing Shieldmate with Rollicker.

I like it! But you should try to make it more budget and it would be even cooler to me. But I do like the idea! Will give it a like
