well... it does this deck is pretty budget friendly. but if you want it to be cheaper, the goblin guids can come out and all of the fetch-lands can be replaced by terramorphic expanse and evolving wilds. and slagstorms can be replaced by pyroclasm. other budget cards to consider are fire servant, ember hauler, lava axe, fiery hellhound, and zektar shrine expedition.

Flame Slash for crowd control, Comet Storm or Red Sun Zenith for big or small X damage, maybe Surreal Memoir, and i think i would pull Punishing Fire out of sideboard and run Combust instead since most life gainers are blue or white. Also throwing in Chandra's Spitefire with some Flings since you already have Kiln Fiends in here. Hope this helps.
flame slash is good against the ever threatening wall of omens and overgrown battlements. so that would be a very good idea sideboard, but it would do next to nothing againt control decks. I like Red Sun's Zenith (although, it is no banefire) when you get alot of mana it is good, but in my opinion, that is were pyromancer's ascension comes into play lategame. (if you ever make it to "lategame"(rdw shouldn't make it to lategame)) I do love cumbust, but punishing fire is more against vampires and highborn. because when they try to combo off, you do too. I do like the idea of adding chandra's spitfire, and fling is a good idea too, what do you think is better, plated geopede, or chandra's spitfire???
