i definitely agree on the warchief and the crusader, and the only reason they ended up not making the list was because of money, same on the lord of the dead. Urborg i considered (also a money issue) and cover of darkness works just as well, since the only things that can reliably stop it are artifacts and black creatures, and since zombie master is there i can usually get past the black creatures as well via swampwalk, which leaves artifacts as the only reliable stopper (unless swamps are present.

i wasn't as much of a fan of graveborn muse because with the number of zombies i usually create with this deck that generally hurts more than it helps

i went with unbreathing horde more on personal preference for durability at the cost of potentially a much larger creature over time in soulless one, only thing that would have sold me would have been if soulless had trample

and gempalm polluter was cool, just didn't end up having room for it.

also if you're interested this deck eventually evolved into my zombocalypse deck

Thank you for your input, it's always nice to hear back from people

personally in mono-blue i'd go boomerang, it's any permanent, including lands

Phytoburst perhaps instead of mutagenic growth?

you can't unsummon emrakul, has protection from colored spells, unsummon has to target him, so doesn't work, actually, that being said, i'm not sure you can use goryo's vengeance on him either, it being black and requires a target

possibly propaganda instead of sphere of safety or pooling venom (take out one or two of each instead of all of one perhaps?)

i like the deck, excellent ideas

I would recommend martial glory instead of rise to the challenge, gives you extra targeting.

I love this deck, Kulrath Knight is such a pain to deal with, always love to see shriekmaw getting used instead of straight up doom blades or terrors.

To be perfectly honest i'm not sure why you have Urborg in here, you'd be better off running two more cabal coffers instead.

Again i really like how this deck looks, seems like its synergy will be absolutely awful to play against, props to you sir

I'd go Nevinryall's disk instead of obliterate, i realize it doesn't kill lands, but if you want to do that you can use Armageddon, or Ajani Vengeant, and the disk is 4 mana cheaper, or three if you decide to use it immediately, which means you can use it three turns earlier than you could use obliterate, also since it kills enchantments, you could exile your own creature with oblivion ring and then field nuke, bringing your Wurmcoil Engine back into play as a 6/6 instead of as two 3/3's which could be better in certain situations

Would definitely throw a fourth dark ritual on the mainboard, and possibly crypt ghasts as well, speed can make games for you and break games for others fighting you, otherwise I really like the look of this deck, props to you sir

i wouldn't say they're useless, they're just not as good as their instant version, and with sundial on the field could buy you a two mana extra turn to help you move towards the instant variant to get infinite turns

i was specifically referring to the other final fortunes, the pact cards are excellent as well though, beseech the queen perhaps as a tutor?

I would recommend having more of the Final Fortune style cards (i know there's at least one more) and (possibly?) Prototype Portal(s) to allow you to create additional Eater of Days/Sundial/Isochron Scepters

Also have you considered Leveler, its a similar card to Eater of Days, if you want other similar options
