heh, math pun enjoyed, i realize isochron will do some sitting, but since it creates a really nasty lock if i get it with silence, swords, or path i think it'll be worth having it in there

also agreed on the bit about the lattice, my main worry if it actually goes off will be things like vandalblast in addition to normal nukes but such is life in edh lol

i actually do have a deck that does that last bit, just not with serra ascendant, (it was a little more expensive than i'd like to do a four-of)

So what would you say if i drop the mirran crusader for darien, the armored ascension for isochron scepter and the celestial mantle for a mycosynth lattice (everything has shroud w/ indomitable archangel)

could also throw in a darksteel forge, my issue would be that i lack tutors, but then that's whites' weakness

definitely agree on the serra ascendant, can't believe i forgot about that. i'm gonna keep indomitable simply because i'm gonna try to squeeze an isochron scepter and maybe a few other things in here as far as artifacts go, they just haven't made it in yet, i'll use the slot from removing waylay to but in the sol ring. what would you suggest should come out for increasing devotion?

I understand it isn't actually a werewolf but Wolfir Silverheart is both inexpensive and can be a huge beater when you need it to be, works well paired with wandering wolf

i know that budget is the point which is why i said extirpate ($3) instead of surgical extraction ($6) althought the latter is most definitely the better card

crypt ghasts might help in place of dark ritual (though i realize it's not as effective early game), if you want to make this modern for real, otherwise i would recommend extirpate (though i know it's a little pricey)

if you throw in additional myr galvanizers and some of the myr that generate mana you can use two myr galvanizers and two of the regular one mana generating myr to make infinite mana of the colors of your choice

i believe the ruling now is that each player can have their own copy of the planeswalker on the field, but no one person may control two planeswalkers of the same type, so me and my opponent can each have our own jace on the field, but if one of us were to take control of the other's one of them would have to be sacrificed. this applies to legendaries as well
