Sigil of the empty throne is a great card indeed!I am not so sure about the illness in the ranks, i think it is best suited as a sideboard card for when your playgroup plays with that kind of strategy. Because if you are the only one focused on creature tokens, you still hurt yourself more then others. That' s why i have put it in the sideboard for now.

That is true indeed, and for now it is added, maybe it gets cut, but the deck could shape up to be something that can take advantage of the proliferate mechanic to! well have to wait and see :P

Those are great cards indeed! I did put Athreos in the sideboard due to it's price tag.
the only thing i feel is missing there is reanimation style cards, but it might not need it. Also moltensteel dragon would be a great addition, should he want to play for the combo, and since he is running Skithiryx, the Blight Dragon, i guess he is.

Nice, thanks. If i might make another suggestion. You could replace some of your targeted removal with enchantment based removal (oblivion ring, statis snare alligned hedron network, etc) So you can give those away, and since you already run 17 enchantments, sphere of safety might be a nice addition.

I don' t think celestial dawn works, they still get to cast all their stuff due to the last wording on the card "You may spend white mana as though it were mana of any color"

Maybe ad some sort of overrun efect cards in? Maybe you could also take one or two paradoxes out since the extra upkeep only triggers once, making multiple of them in your hand dead cards. Also the counterspells could be placed in the sideboard if you need to make some room.
