How to Play

Uses Azusa to play additional lands per turn, with hedron crab used to mill the opponent with landfall. Simic growth chamber lands allow for an infinite amount of lands by bouncing each other. Drift of Phantasms transmute can be used to search for Azusa or other cards such as cultivate, propaganda or laquatos.

Deck discussion for Hedron Miller

Trying to figure out how to refine this deck, any suggestions on what to take away or add would be appreciated.

Harrow and beast within would do this deck wonders. Also if you like strange combos ravinica bounce lands plus azusa,lost but seeking work well with hedron crab for some extra mill. The bounce land for green blue is simic growth chamber. If your gonna play harrow play it over cultivate. If your gonna play beast within play it over nature's claim and 1 or 2 forests.

Cheers I really like the bounce land and azusa combo will definitely incorporate it. Can't find beast so a little more info to the card would be appreciated. Also anything i can take out to refine as the deck is approaching 80 cards.

Well first since the azusa plus bounce land combo fuels itself really well no need for so many lands. Beast within is 2 colorless and a green mana for "destroy target permanent it puts a 3/3 green beast creature token onto the battlefield." As for cuts you wanna cut increasing confusion since your mill will be coming from an engine you won't need cards to mill much further. Next either cut honden or 2 foresees. No more card draw necessary. you also wanna drop your land count you don't need 28. 24 lands with ramp should be more than enough. Annex 9/10 will be a high costing card for very little effect especially since it doesn't even will hedron crab since the land won't even be entering the battlefield under your control. It would have already been there and would just move. Propaganda can be moved down to 2 minimum if necessary but let's try to avoid that. Overgrown battlement can also be cut down to like 2/3.

Also if you can play prordain over foresee do so. For 1/4 of the mana cost you get half the effect which may sound meh at first but when you consider that it has potential to put you 3 cards ahead and for 1 mana can get you a card you want if it's in the top 3 cards of your library it's worth it.

Naw that's fine keep mind most opponents will only have 60 cards in their deck then with every card they draw they come that much closer to milling themselves. The only decks that might run a slight bit more than 60 are self mill decks but generally speaking if you don't lose quickly to them you just win flat out. Plus you have the keening stone traumatize combo to deal with the lunatics playing battle of wits.

True, cheers for the help, only real problem now is getting azusa, its a third of the value of the deck, well worth it though.
