I intend to take this deck to a standard tournament. I am prepared to be crushingly defeated, or to sneak out shifty yet impressive victories. This deck is a true glass cannon; victory or defeat is on the line nearly every turn. Ideal games keep pace with the opponent while establishing a good board position and mana base. Final moves often include Cyclonic Rift or Dragonshift overloaded much to the dismay of unprepared opponents. I am not quite sure on the quantities of cards in the sideboard or in the deck itself at the moment. I am open to suggestions. I would like to possibly replace the Searing Spears with more Cyclonic Rift or Mizzium Mortars, but at the moment I am limited in quantity and resources.Ral may be somewhat deadweight at the moment but he is also Ral. So he has that goin for him.
Survive nasty early assaults to establish board position. Talrand, Guttersnipe, Electromancer, Nivix Cyclops are your friends. Be pesky with your opponents creatures in order to save your own; this is what Rapid Hybridization, Unsummon, and Searing Spear are for. Use Krenko's Command or Think Twice in conjunction with Talrand or Guttersnipe for bonus tasties. Acquire mana base to overload Dragonshift or Cyclonic Rift for a potential finisher. Bomb Epic Experiment with Talrand or Guttersnipe for smiles all around. This deck is an extremely fragile glass cannon but when it works, godamn is it fun.
