There are a lot of good choices in Abzan for Standard, and the +1/+1 counters mechanic can get out of control fast, especially with the cards that benefit your creatures for having counters on them. Soon you'll overwhelm your opponents with huge flying, trampling, first-strikers.Deciding between all the synergistic cards is actually the hardest part. The sideboard here are all the cards I'm deciding between. Would taking out a couple of Abzan creatures for more heroic creatures like (Fabled Hero) work better? Should I add more 1-drops like Soldier of the Pantheon, Lagonna Trailblazer or Favored Hoplite even though a lot of the lands come into play tapped? Molting Snakeskin would give a heroic creature +3/+1 and regenerate for 1 mana!Removal spells like Hero's Downfall and Utter End would slow down the overall game plan a bit, but are always good choices. Give me your thoughts, I think this deck could be very powerful.
