During pre-release most people thought that Jeskai was likely the weakest of the clans to pick, but what if we put Jeskai in a Heroic shell? Blue White Heroic was fairly strong in Block Format already, and I loved Red White Heroic with cards like Boros Charm, Titan's Strength and Ajani, Caller of the Pride for finishing opponents quickly with double strike!Here I hope that combining the two with the better mana fixing will work fairly well in creating a fast deck for the slower Khans of Tarkir standard. This deck still needs testing and tweaking but I think this is a start for a deck I'll be playing a lot of!
With the new Abzan cards, you can give all your Heroic creatures first-strike (Ainok Bond-Kin), flying (Abzan Falconer), or lifelink (Abzan Battle Priest). I chose Bond-Kin for main deck, and Falconer for sideboard. Abzan Battle Priest at 4 mana seems a bit high for lifelink. Battle Mastery is the new Double Strike enabler, and Jeskai Ascendancy gives all your creatures an additional 1/1 for the turn whenever you cast an Aura or Instant to trigger Heroic. A single Flying Crane Technique in the main deck is for pulling off what Ajani, Caller of The Pride did, but for all your creatures at once! Ordeal of Thassa, Stratus Walk and Defiant Strike (in the sideboard) offer lots of card draw, allowing you to dig for what you might need.
