Generate tokens, get +1/+1 counters, gain life, deal damage and getting extra combat phases are some of the perks you can get for attacking.There's a good number of soldiers in this deck, so Preeminent Captain can help cheat them out. Another cool interaction is that Cyclops Gladiator deals damage equal to it's power to a target creature whenever he attacks. Usually that creature deals damage back to Cyclops Gladiator, but Iroas prevents that damage so you can take out creatures that would normally kill Cyclops Gladiator!Archangel of Thune, Gleam of Battle and Ajani Steadfast can put +1/+1 counters on all your creatures at once. This works with Rage Forger which lets all your creatures with a +1/+1 counter on it deal 1 damage to an opponent!
