I was just trying to come up with a fun deck mixing Scavenge, Bloodrush and Unleash. I thought the cost for scavenging was usually a bit high, so I was really trying to use Varolz to his maximum potential with cheap, high-power cards like Vexing Devil.Maybe 2 Legion Loyalists would be better than Zhur-Taa Druid. The average mana cost is fairly low so I may not need any ramp. Suggestions welcome.
Use Corpsejack Menace to capitalize on counters. Scavenge creatures for good value with Varolz. Vexing Devil was made for scavenging! Bloodrush Ghor-Clan Rampager and then scavenge it too! Then trample your opponents with powered-up creatures or use Blood from Flesh//Blood to deal the damage directly.An ideal scenario might be:Turn 1: Blood Crypt or Stomping Ground (pay life), Vexing Devil (lose it, deal 4 dmg).Turn 2: Forest or Swamp, Lotleth Troll (discard 1 or 2 creatures) for a 3/2 or 4/3 Troll.Turn 3: Land, then Varolz the Scar Striped. Swing with Lotleth Troll if it's safe.Turn 4: Land, Bloodrush Ghor-Clan Rampager and scavenge Vexing Devil for a 11/10 or 12/11 Lotleth Troll with Trample. Attack. Your hand would be empty here if you discarded 2 creatures.Turn 5: Scavenge Ghor-Clan Rampager onto Varolz or Lotleth Troll. Attack.There are other options, such as getting a Grisly Salvage or Wildwood rebirth to search for another/recover Vexing Devil or Ghor-Clan Rampager. Or on Turn 4: Play Corpsejack Menace, waiting until turn 5 to Scavenge Vexing Devil, and then after dealing damage play a Cryptborn Horror for another huge creature with trample.

I actually had an idea similar to this. Basically I was thinking to mix Green and Red for Unleash and Scavange, then use Crowned Ceratok to go in for the kill.

Yeah, i was thinking of using Maze Behemoth at first (didn't even think of Crowned Ceratok!), but now most of my power creatures just already have trample Bloodfray Giant, Cryptborn Horror, Lotleth Troll, and Ghor-Clan Rampager who can be bloodrushed to give it to something else too. I'll have to keep Crowned Ceratok in mind though, maybe for a Simic Deck. Thanks for the comment.
