Deck discussion for U/G Infect Slam

The Livewire Lash seems a little lack luster without an explination, but this is how it works.

Turn 1, Glistener Elf.
Turn 2, Livewire Lash, swing for 1.
Turn 3, equip the lash, pay 2 life for Mutagenic Growth, and your third mana for a Groundswell.

This activates the ability of Livewire Lash twice, either clearing the board with -1/-1 counters or sending 4 poison counters straight to your opponent, because it's not the equipment that deals the damage, but the creature it's equipped to...and that creature has infect.

So, 2 spells target it, that's 4 counters, plus 7 from the Glistener Elf itself (Groundswell+Mutagenic Growth +2 from the lash's +2/+0). In other words, great hands get it done on turn 3.

Spell Pierce is essential, and much better than Skyward Vault considering the board clear capabilities I just explained. I do like chained throat seeker.... :D

changes I suggest
cut naturalize for nature's claim
cut viral drake and rot wolf for necropede and ichorclaw myr
cut vines of vastwood for giant growth for a more likely turn 2 win
cut terramorphic expans for inkmoth nexus (if you aren't willing to pay the cash for inkmoths, I'd cut them for forests or islands )
cut unsummons and putrifax for dismembers

I don't recommend losing Vines of Vastwood at all, it's absolutly required to blow out removal spells (especially Dismember).

-Rot Wolf and Viral Drake are too slow IMO, even if Viral Drake gives you an alternate win condition.
+ Ichorclaw Myr is a great replacement, as Favorable Combat usually allows for you to hit for 1 infect early (turning into 7+ on turn 3).
-Naturalize definatly cut for Nature's Claim
-4x Spell Pierce main is pretty ballsy, as often times if you get halted with any Tempo play, you have dead counters.
- Terramorphic is too slow imo, if you draw one, you're hosed.
- Unsummon is too situational, and many creatures in standard have ETB effects that will cause a lot of problems.

+Add Viridan Corrupter to the sideboard at least
- Corrupted Resolve is another card that vs. a controlling match up, may never get online with your current creature density. Very hit or miss.
- Flashfreeze seems too targeted as well, Valakut should be an easy match up with this deck's speed, and you should have enough answers to splinter twin (vines, nature's claim, spell pierce).

Otherwise, pretty standard and streamlined deck.

Found your deck shortly after finishing my own, eerily similar deck. I've been out of the game for nearly 10 years, and have yet to even buy any "modern" cards. The differences for mine include:

- Viral Drake (x4)
+ Necropede (x4)
- Rot Wolf (x4)
+ Birds of Paradise (x4)
- Spell Pierce (x4)
+ Throne of Geth (x3)

Land: 16x Forests, 5x Islands

Sideboard is totally different (Again, I haven't played in ages and know nothing about popular deck types I might encounter):

Asceticism x3
Nature's Claim x4 (switched from Naturalize after reading comments on your deck)
Mana Leak x4
Beast Within x4

* Beast Within might seem really strange, but I want a way to deal with Melira, Sylvok Outcast, and mess with any permanent-based combo.
