Deck Description

Based on using different Vampire creature and enchantment combos to sac my own vampires and take down my opponent's life total as my Vampires go into the graveyard. Updated with M12 and Mirrodin block cards; Birthing Pod is especially nasty, as I have creatures going straight up the mana curve to Sheoldred. Will be Standard legal until the next set drops in October.

Deck discussion for Sac-to-Kill Vampire Deck

Seems good, though I've never played a vampire deck and haven't played much in 5 or 6 years. I'm guessing you use Vampire Aristocrat along with Kalastria Highborn, Butcher of Malakir and Blade of the Bloodchief. If so, I might used Death Denied instead of Disentomb because then you don't have to worry about how many creatures you sacrifice nearly as much.

Interesting idea, but the high mana cost for Death Denied concerns me. Most of the creatures I'll be sacing will either be Bloodghasts with landfall to come back into play or other creatures that I simply don't need. For the few that may go in that I want back, I have cheap Disentombs and a Soul Stair Expedition. I need to play the deck more with the changes I made recently, so I still may look into Death Denied if I think I need some more creature retrieval. Thanks!
