Nice! That's a good idea, I went with Footfall Crater as it also gives me haste.

But that added with the cost of initial entry is what pushes me away. this deck is going to cost me less than 70 bucks as I already have a bunch of the cards. Whereas a Transmogrify Modern deck would run me close to 500-700 depending on the lands I run. Those two together push me away from the format.

Very true, but I am not a fan of modern. The costs tend to be prohibitive and the format can, and has, swung wildly with the banning of one card or another.

I like oddball decks, and this is by no means consistent so I doubt you're going to see a ton of it at a high level of play. But as a janky FNM deck, it could be fun.

I considered him and Guttersnipe, but I wanted to go only wizards to get the most out of the commander. But I definitely will if end up adding both if I find that the deck isn't running as fast or as consistently as I'd like

I am kinda surprised you didn't throw in Monastery Swiftspear, I feel like that would work well in this deck considering that would easily do 2 damage turn 2 and let you drop Mindcrank...

Instead of mana confluence you could use Gemstone Mine. Since your deck is agro to the max you really won't have to worry about using past T3 anyway.

Throw some basic lands out so you aren't stuck with have to spend 2 or 3 life to have a specific land on T1. Also I run a deck similiar to this and one of the problems I had was getting 2 white mana for Phalanx Leader and Fabled hero... I just couldn't do it by turn 2 or 3 where it was needed... If you want a few idea's here is my deck:

I'd drop 2 Stomping Grounds, 2 Temple Gardens, 1 Wooded Foothills, and 1 Windswept Heath as a start then add some basic land. Then all you have to do is play around with the mana base forever until you find something that works =P. Also I'd add way more Spells that target your creatures. This deck has gotta be winning by T4 and T5 at the latest. My deck sadly has issue's doing that and is a little weak against counterspell, I make up for that by the obscene amount of spells in my deck that target my creatures.

But on the upside you have a good mana curve and your spells are specifically picked to target more than 1 creature, so kudos to you and a +1 from me!

Tree of Redemption would go well in this deck, Just in case you come up against a burn deck or something of that ilk. But I really like it it looks like it would be a fun deck to completely annoy your friends with. Oh, and Fog... fog would help as well.+1 from me!

Pact of negation would work to counter it, if you get stuck in that type of situation...

Ha, this deck is hilarious... I might just use the idea to play against my friends back home... But +1 from me, I'm glad to see a non-budget creative deck on the front page that is also competitive... Nicely done good sir!

BTW- the only thing I might add would be a Stormtide Leviathan just cuz it's a little cheaper than the eldrazi and it shut's down the opponents creatures that don't have flying or islandwalk.

Since you have a good amount of mana producers I would drop the land count to 18 or 19 and add moar elves, considering they are your win condition. I'd also look at the mana curve. You have a lot of three drops but not that many 1 or 2 drops which limits what you can do on turns 1 and 2 and cuts into the game flow on turns 4+. I'll be honest, it's a good idea but you are going to need to tweak it quite a bit before it becomes something that dominates your meta. The potential is there, don't get me wrong but you need to find another edge to make the deck really scary.

Phage The Untouchable, followed by Elbrus, The Binding Blade and a close third with Iona, Sheild of Emeria

When I ran a W/B exalted eck I had Silverblade Paladin in it, double strike is always nice to add but you have to worry about that 2 White mana in the casting cost. But I had success using him.

Thanks for the input, I totes forgot about token decks... That and vault of the archangel... My Meta is creature and removal heavy, (we actually haven't played commander togeather before, I had a sliver EDH deck a while ago but I dismantled it, so I'm expecting the meat for commander to be the same as what my friends regular decks are) so I think this will work, but thanks for commenting!

As long as I don't see any Laboratory Maniac and Gitaxian Probe decks I'll be happy =P
