Deck Description

essentially a ferocious deck, except it uses cards from shards of alara to give bonus to 5-power creatures. those creatures still trigger ferocious, but can also be searched out and given first strike. considering adding atarka, the world render to go with the other dragons, or maybe ugin the spirit dragon

How to Play

the spells are generally used to get through whtever your opponent has for blockers. the downfall of 5-power creatures is their low toughness, so valorous stance's first ability, rakeclaw gargantuan's ability, the winds, and roar of challenge all allow your creatures to leave battle unscathed. the guardians and whisperers quickly let you ramp into a double-usage of the insane ability of the shaman of the great hunt.

Deck discussion for Naya/Ferocious budget deck

If you are aggro, you need to analyse your speed, and I think you're a tad slow, you might be better moving towards midrange

all those dragons and thragtusk are just as expensive, mana-wise, if not more than the preexisting slots, brimaz doesn't really seem that worthwhile, path to exile doen't seem all that great, and the cuts would be hard for lightning bolt. the helix is the superior card, of the 2

Path to exile is the BEST removal spell in modern, hands down, bolt is a 1 mana 'Your early game is wrecked' Brimaz is absolutely amazing, and dragons and thragtusk are vastly superior pretty much every card in the deck, What would you rather resolve, cobblebrute or thundermaw hellkite when opposite 4 lingering souls tokens and a tarmogoyf?
