Deck Description

Standard legal.
I guess it's the new trend here on mtgvault but I figured I'd try my hand at a heartless summons deck.

Concept is pretty straight forward, play heartless summoning, use perilous myr as a free shock and myr superion as a free summon, recur free shocks with glissa, wipe their board with massacre wurm, black sun's zenith and liliana. Burn them to death with M-Tmasticore. Proceed to gg aggressively.

Alternatively you can sideboard in primeval titan+exsanguinate for a ramped up drain and naturalize to remove heartless when you're done summoning and deal with swords or other enchantment/artifact shenanigans they may have.

Recommendations/critiques welcome, hope you like it.

Deck discussion for Skynet: Heartless Machines

i just put up a heartless summoning deck but i didn't think about superion. good call on that. one thing i'm not too sure about is the green. i understand glissa is awesome, but i've tried her out and she doesn't really do what you want her to i think. also, black sun's zenith is kind of killing your creatures. you can look at mine, though it's in its early stages.

I really like BSZ against aggressive decks like mono-white humans or rdw but I see your point, definitely dont need 4 of them, maybe 2 or just sideboard. I really like the metamorph with this deck, I may put 2 in even not running blue, or sideboard them, depending how a playtest goes.
I haven't gotten a chance to play test this deck yet but in regards to Glissa, I was thinking with liliana's sack ability and some removal (doom blades/dismembers to replace the BSZs) and massacre wurms she should hopefully get me back at least free shock or ideally a masticore that was killed. I think I could definitely drop down to 2 of her though.
I really like green for the ability to destroy heartless summoning after using it or to deal with swords/o-rings (aka blade or solar flare decks). Wall of text done.

im not sure i like myr superion in most of the heartless summoning decks he just seems like he would be a dead draw most of the time considering you dont have any other way to play him

Grand Architect can play superions, if you don't have heartless out... Just saying...
