Cancel isnt a good counter spell. Agreed, an unconditional hard counter is useful, but its expensive for its purpose. Negate is a better option. Youve got enough burn to take out creatures.

Syncopate with 2 as X costs as many as Dissipate & it's not uncondicional still...
