Deck discussion for FlickerTusk

looks pretty good. Magic definitely needs more dedicated female players. In all the event coverage i have watched i don't know if i have ever seen a girl in the top 8 of a pt or whatever.
Anyways, by tournament do you mean FNM or like an actual tournament?

nice deck :) and yes would be nice to see more of us ladies playing :)..... most of the guys think " oh she is a lady.... easy kill..." not likely with this lady :)
i hope your sister continues to kick butt and enjoy the game :)

She will... :)

The deck is competative & she's a player who never makes a mistake & 97% of the time choose the best decidion possible... :)
...she has learnt from her brother after all......... :) :)

She will make at least top 8... I belive top 4... ...but she also has a good chanse at winning...

We've tested this deck against my R/U/W control, Grixis control, B/G/U Zombies & Izzet Goblin/spells deck...

She beat the goblin 2-1, got beat by the zombie 2-1, & got beat by both of my control decks 2-0... ...but she hung in there against each, so I got high hopes for her for next friday... :)

I'm gonna' play at another location, so at least I won't beat her ... :)

I would love to run esper, but I'm bad with three+ colors. I usually run W,U,B or any combination thereof.

I feel like 1 less visionary for another armada wurm seems good for a little end game ooofff I did see a variant of this deck that was green white life gain with trostani where the guy routinely gaine 60+ life pergame so that's a thought
Otherwise very solid I like it
Also I'm working on a different deck it's standard but it's morbid a tokens in a little loved tri color
White red blak

Great work helping your sister man! Is it profitable to use populate cards with geist of saint traft? Just a tought.
Can you help me with some ideas for a deck? The idea is to make a cheap standard deck. I´ve taken a lot of ideas from your decks but it would be great if you can help me. Is there a way of sending private messages with this site?

Sure I can help!.. :)

If you populate the token of Geist, the "copy" won't get exiled... The token itselfe doesn't has "exile at the beggining of the next end step" in it's text, 'cuz it's only an order for on original token...

There isn't any function for private massages on this site, but I have an idea...

If you make a deck, it won't appear to anyone, except on your profile, until you publish it by confirming, that it is a "finished deck"("work in progress" changed to "finished deck")...

You can send me that deck, or conversation on any of my decks...

Just post a link & we can change ideas!.. :)

http://www.mtgvault.com/EditDeck.aspx?DeckID=398482 i´ve been trying to figure this deck out (B/G zombies) It´s not exactly cheap but i don´t know, i just love zombies. Another option i was considering is making an izzet deck (maybe with krenko like yours). Thanks a lot!

Izzet with Hypersonic Dragon as finisher could be cheap... :)

Play Guttersnipe, Pillar of Flame, Searing Spear, Dissipate, Unsummon, Syncopate, Flames of the Firebrand, Epic Experiment, Delver of Secrets, Hypersonic Dragon, Think Twice, Index(for Epic Experiment/when to play it & for what cost - may be leaving Hypersinic for the 5th card & play Epic for X=4)... :) ....

I would drop the 3 Pilgrim's for Keyrunes. In my opinion if your not running at least 6 dorks, dont run any at all.
Crazy solid deck, but I wouldnt expect less from one of your builds.
Hope your sis does well.

Awesome deck really solid, this is pretty reminiscent of a Bant Control deck I played against at a local FNM recently. A deck that totally handed my B/G zombie deck it's ass on a silver platter.

I would very greatly appreciate you input on a modern deck I put together: http://www.mtgvault.com/ViewDeck.aspx?DeckID=401078

Nice build, good curve. I'd like to see how this plays compared to my Bant flicker build. Seems like it will play slightly faster early game, but slow down slightly sooner. Thta's just a gut feel though.

Issues might be with board wipe, but u have negate SBed for that, and flicker to save some non-tokens.

I'm not sure what else u need to do to improve this, looking pretty good. But it has made me think Geist would be good in my build, since between cackling counterpart, parallel lives, seance and various flickers, it could really add quite a lot.

I donno', Snap doesn't fit this deck too much... ...but he's under consideration... :)

Hey Poet, really like your decks and they actually inspired me to get back into deckbuilding (which was a huge passion of mine from ice age through alara reborn). Suggestion for this deck would be take out Jace (I personally never like running one of anything) and a druid's deliverance (you should have so many big creatures out you can block about anything) and put in 2 temporal masterys. Imagine flickering resto angel for a thragtusk twice before your opponent gets to go once! Just adding insult to injury there. Good luck to your sister and glad Magic is still going strong.
I respect your comments and builds so if you have time, could you take a look at my feed the tree deck?

Congratz to you and your sis from the U.S. I would like to play a match with you two (I'd probably get stomped on) (best fnm with the change in standard, came in 9th), but you are there and I'm here. Still a fan of your decks. Keep up the good work.

I could use your help with some decks (I do not normally use G and R)
