Evolving my other Modern Izzet deck by adding white. This one is less aggro, instead relying on known pillars of the format, Geist of Saint Traft and a batch of control cards.I did this because I wanted a more resilient deck, and because I feel that the only other creature that is worth sticking Clout of the Dominus on is Lightning Angel. Sometimes it will also go on Geist, to make it survive combat versus snapcasters and pyroclasms.Riverfall Mimic remains a vulnerable threat, but it is still a 2/1 for 2 which is by all means not bad, and a great win condition with the clout.Still, often I will side them out for Restoration Angels and planeswalkers to play more control in matchups where a vanilla 2/1 is a little too weak.
