The owner of this deck hasn't added a sideboard, they probably should...

Submit a list of cards below to bulk import them all into your sideboard. Post one card per line using a format like "4x Birds of Paradise" or "1 Blaze", you can even enter just the card name by itself like "Wrath of God" for single cards.

Deck Description

The point is to get one Sharuum The Hegemon in the graveyard, and one Glassdust Hulk on the Field, then play a Sharuum and get the Sharuum in the graveyard back, causing the legend rule to kick in before Sharuum's ability takes place, then to get one of the Sharuums back and continuing the process until Glassdust Hulk can swing for all of your opponent's life.

I recognize that this is a VERY strange deck, but it seems to have worked so far. I do know that I should be looking for the blue white lands. It would probably work only in casual play, since it would be extended and most really good extended decks could probably crush it. I don't know, though. What do you all think?

Deck discussion for Glassdust Sharuum Combo Deck

The idea is good, but it requires you to loose a Sharuum, and from the way it looks, the only way for you to loose one is for your opponent to destroy one. Might I suggest adding a few cards that allow you to take a creature card from your deck and put it straight into the graveyard, could help speed up the combo and make things a little easier to get going.

Hmmm, didn't even see the looters there. Nevermind :D

If you know of cards that put cards from your deck directly into your graveyard, it would really speed things up.

Entomb is probably your best bet for something like that. One black and it goes straight there, but like I said, I didn't even see those Merfolk Looters, and I like those a lot actually, you not only get a card, but you can discard a card as well. Discard the Sharuum and bring it right back.

If your playing black and Sharuum, I'd also look into Makeshift Mannequins, only because then you could put both Sharuums in your graveyard and not have to hard summon any of them.

See, my thought was I would also discard the Dread Returns, because I don't actually have any black mana in the deck, and just use it's effect from the graveyard. I don't actually play that or Sharuum from my hand at all.

And Entomb. I might splash black and run a couple of it if I can find one. I dunno, I'll have to see how it works. Thanks for that!

Ah, I get it. Makes sense if you're looking to keep it a mainly two color deck, again, I just saw black cards and assumed you were trying to play black lol. xD

Then all I can think of is maybe do 4x Plumeviel and 3x Walls of Denial, I like the 4/4 flash a little better than a 0/8 shroud. Nice little surprise for someone who thinks they can just attack you.

I would consider making white a minor part of the deck. then you could do U/B with stuff like buried alive, and reanimation like animate dead, exhume, living death etc. Or is this a standard deck? I forgot what sets are standard. If you make it black then you could use disciple of the vault with two sharuums

If you want to make the combination easier, you could do the sharuum combination, but instead of keeping it going until the glassdust hulk is strong enough to kill the opponent (assuming it can hit them) why not throw a Magister's Sphinx in there to end the combination with. Use your last Sharuum to bring a Magister's Sphinx from the graveyard into play, thus making your opponent's lifetotal 10. So that way if he does manage to stop the attack, at least you've taken a nice bite out of him anyway.
