Deck discussion for Cipher Madness

If you ever want to cast more than 1 spell a turn, you need more than 2 lands to play this deck :). I'd suggest running at least 20 lands. Also, 4 braves, 4 gods, and 4 mizziums is overkill. 4 gods and 4 mizziums should do the trick, and you can drop the braves since only 4 of your creatures are white anyway.

I'd also suggest getting some more creatures in there because 12 is rough even with the spells to protect them. Perhaps Blistercoil Weird, Judge's Familiar, or Soldier of the Pantheon. Judge's Familiar has built in evasion, which should help you be able to trigger cipher deeper into games. Blistercoil has a little synergy with cipher and protection instants you are running. Soldier of the Pantheon is just good, but he isn't dual color like the other two.

I cloned and modified the deck, http://www.mtgvault.com/traslin/decks/cipher-madness/. I also replaced magma jet with aqueous form. It has scry, increases damage, and provides evasion to trigger cipher.

Good idee for aqueous form. For the land i have no problem in some test game, hidden string permit me to cast spell in chain. i think i will replace the brave the elements with Judge's for the evasion because in play test a good wall creatures block my deck
