This is a fun deck. The idea came from some gatherer card discussions, so I decided to see just how far I could take it.It went pretty far.Basic idea is to get out Viridian Joiners, equip them with Umbral Mantle, buff them, then get all the mana you'd ever need. Proceed to hand dump and wreck everyone.
Turn 1: Forest, Elvish MysticTurn 2: Forest, Viridian JoinerTurn 3: Forest, Umbral Mantle, any of the multitude of +2/+2 (or more) buffs, then bring out any big beefy that you have in your hand. Or beef up your elves with X +1/+1 counters.Just... overrun with immense numbers. Or you can drop Helix Pinnacle and fill it with mana to win next turn.Even if you don't get Umbral Mantle, buffs alone on the Joiner make for pretty scary Oozes and Wurms.

This... is actually awesome :P I should try it sometime. Maybe I could even tweak it to be close to a competitive deck :)Elvish Harbinger could help fetch Viridian Joiner. Ancient Stirrings could help fetch Umbral Mantle. Harmonize would be cool too... So many options
