Deck Description

My take on an aggressive mill EDH with Lazav at the helm. This deck uses a number of "land mill" mechanics (i.e. cards that mill until X lands are revealed) to mill massive amounts of cards and deny the opponents their precious lands. In EDH, it is entirely possible that a Mind Funeral could mill out 20-30 cards.

Deck discussion for Something, Something, Darkside

Altar of Dementia is a must.

Graveyard hate is rather important too. The graveyard is a second hand for a LOT of decks in EDH and milling those players might as well be playing a Prosperity or Blue Sun's Zenith on them.

Guiltfeeder is pretty hilarious after a big mind grind.

Agreed. You could replace Undercity Informer with the Altar and it would probably end up being a better mill mechanic. As for gravehate, I can see reasons for and against it in this deck.

You may have a point there with Altar of Dementia, but the reason I have no graveyard hate is because a number of my cards gain from having stocked up graveyards. In addition, anything substantial that is put into their graveyard (to be returned to play later) can be dealt with in a manner of ways, most notably by copying it with Lazav. Consuming Aberration is even more hilarious (especially now that I'm going to add in Altar).

Alright, in the rare case I need to destroy a graveyard, I have Bojuka Bog. It's not a full dedication to graveyard hate, but it IS there if needed.

On a side note, your mana curve looks appropriately like someone giving the middle finger =P

You could always use Grafdigger's Cage to keep their cards in their graveyard but they can't play them.
