Deck Description

A pretty quick green infect deck.

I also have a B/G Infect that I tend to run more often. But this deck is a FNM killer. I would have two or three tectonic edges in this deck as well.

This deck is ever-evolving and I enjoy different views and flavors of opinion.

Deck discussion for Infectious Green

How the hell'd you get a playset of Inkmoth Nexus y'bastard? =[

I'm officially jealous -_-

Oh, and in your sideboard...Swap out Naturalize for Nature's Claim. I personally think it's overall a better choice, but with infect, where life points don't matter, it's a no-brainer. =]

I actually ordered them the day the set dropped because I could see that these were gonna be an awesome land/card. Got 4 for $12 shipped. ;D

Thanks for the suggestion. You are absolutely right.

Honestly I may sub out the primal bellows for 2 more unnatural predations. Instant trample plus infect has been pretty effective. Plus this deck typically wins fairly early so there really aren't too many forests out the way there would be with ramp.

Also thought of using Birds of Paradise rather than Elves just for some overhead cover.

Thoughts are appreciated.

This is a pretty good deck but if you want really fast infect, either take out the equipment or add more cheap instants/sorceries to use livewire lash super fast. Otherwise you'll have to wait and equip and you won't be able to target very often really slowing things down which is bad for infect.

Updated to its current form. Putrefax is so hard to deal with once he resolves.

As for more spells...I don't know what I would sub out for game 1 usage to get more say primal bellows in. I have 12 spells which is 20% of my library. I do use BoP occasionally instead of llanowar.

The live wires give a nice boost and give you the ability to do direct infect damage so you can take out a perspective blocker or do 20% of the lethal damage necessary. And they are cheap to equip (say on Inkmoth every turn).

Inkmoth (unblocked) + Livewire + Giant growth = 8 flying poison (2 of which can wipe/shrink a blocker) from one source on one attack phase.

An resolved Garruk is usually gg if I have a creature out.

Also I have been mainboarding one Ratchet trap because of local bias towards Kuldotha/Boros.

if you were to splash some blue in this deck then I would recommend getting artful dodge and distortion strikes those can help in case your opponent wants to block. Also I think you should add titanic growth to the mix for more power to your creatures
