I think Drowner Initiate would be a good creature to put in here, because it's like Millstone but it'll offer some protection on the battlefield as well as cost less mana. Also, you should probably put Counterspells in here for some control over the opponent.

It's definitely in need of counter spells.
I've got a pretty similar deck of my own. One trade off I'd consider is a gutsy one - take out the Millstones for Mesmeric Orbs. Yes you mill yourself, but it keeps them from wanting to do anything mana intensive and punishes them for casting spells, activating abilities, etc. Meanwhile you mill 3 cards for a Mind Funeral and 2 for Glimpse...big deal.
