Play fast human soldiers to agressive upon your enemy and use Xathrid to get a zombie 2/2 token whenever one human dies! Athreos plus Heliod is a nice combo with frontline medic too.

Should add Godless Shrines.
Godless Shrines is really nice, but it's price is to high. Unfortunatly, Athreos is already too expensive. I can't afford it all. But yes, certainly an important card.
I'm not a fan of heliod, so I'd drop him. Also pain seer for some extra cards. Im running a similar version but white is my splash color so I can play thoughtseize and duress and all those good black spells.
I like his vigilance, but you're right about him, it's not a god for this strategy. Pain seer is nice, i'm thinking about him, but I don't know if it's better then precinct, imposing or skyjek.
