I'm trying to build a Standard Rat themed deck, and this is more of an aggro attempt with the side option of going with a Toxic theme since Karumonix has a good passive and very nice ETB for refilling your hand!Ideally you'd have out both Kings in order to maximise the value of the deck, especially for the long game.
Flood the board with rats and turn the board at your local shop into a scene out of either Dishonoured or A Plague Tale!Don't feel bad either about going to creature trades with Mirrodin Avenged in this deck, or you could also swap in Bladebrand if that's what you prefer.You also aren't forced into the Toxic strategy, so don't feel like you HAVE to get out Karumonix and get all the Poison counters. It's more of a strategy for longer games, and another way to apply pressure and scare opponents who are thrown off by the Poison Counter mechanic, but if you prefer that method of play, add in some Proliferate effects and let me know how it goes!
