In an attempt to undermine the current Modern meta of Rakdos Scam, Murktide Regent and other graveyard decks, I'm attempting to make a new version of the Scam deck in order to counter these strategies.This Golgari themed version of the deck is based around using Endurance to stop Murktide and similar players from actually having a graveyard to do their thing, while also having access to it in a pinch against Rakdos Scam, alongside the Hearse and Surgical Extraction are also here to put a permanent end to various decks, if it's allowed to go off.
Same Scam, but instead of burning things, there is a graveyard hate element. While Endurance isn't exiling someone's deck, shorting out a Murktide's Delirium trigger on Dragon's Rage Channeller AND stopping a Murktide Delve is indeed quite a strong move. If you are able to, flashing in Endurance to stop a Rakdos Scammer getting their own Grief, or even Fury back from their grave with some sort of Undying trigger, then that's absolute gold. Or just exile them when the graveyard trigger is on the stack with the Hearse or Surgical Extraction.Skylasher is here mainly as an anti-Murktide card. Yes, I really do hate Murktide decks.I haven't done a Sideboard, because I have no clue what I'd add to this deck.
