First of all, welcome to Magic :) Before I address the content of your deck, here are some basic deck building tips: First, try and have exactly 60 cards in your deck, and make it your best 60. Lands should be about 40% of your deck, so in a 60 card deck, have 24 lands. Try and have 4 of each, that way your deck is consistent and is always doing what it should. Now, your deck is a white metalcraft myr deck and I see you got it from the intro pack: Myr of Mirrodin. and you have also put in a few life gain cards. I would suggest losing the life gain cards like angels mercy and rest for the weary and focus on the myrs. also you have ichorclaw myr which is infect, he wont help you at all, lose him. Soul parry isn't necessary but if you wtill want some damage prevention, put safe passage in. pillarfield ox and ondu cleric don't help you in any way... echo circlet is worthless. try and get a etched champion, hes great :) All in all, this is pretty nice for a first deck, and myr is pretty good for fun decks now. check out myr decks in this site like: http://mtgvault.com/ViewDeck.aspx?DeckID=135081 http://mtgvault.com/ViewDeck.aspx?DeckID=131619

I agree with the last comments, i would also say darksteel juganout is pretty cool especially if you play the infaltration lens on him. i have a similar myr type deck if you wanna check it out and a few other cool idea decks
this deck was turned in to the deck named redsinr ( http://www.mtgvault.com/ViewDeck.aspx?DeckID=160871 ) i have learned quite a bit from when i first made this deck and its no longer a problem for me to make 60 card decks, thanks for all the advice but i kinda went the other way with it along time ago
