How is this deck black/red? Also if you are only running 17 lands (i would personally suggest running 20 atleast) then you probably dont wont to run Kalitas, bloodchief. I would recommend: -3 Kalitas -4 blind zealot -4 wretched banquet -4 hideous end +3 swamps (or verdant catacombs if you have the money) +4 Gatekeepers +4 captivating vampire +4 vampire lacerator (or pulse tracker) another idea which might be quite fun is running chencellor of the dross just for the chance of getting him in your opening hand =-)
