Don't ask me why... I think it's mostly because I've always wanted to see a Barbarian deck based around actual combos. Isochron Scepter the Evolution. You can then use it to change the text of Hostility, Rakka Mar, Godo, or Dragon Roost to "Barbarian" instead of their respective creature types. Hostility puts a barbarian token in when you use Beacon of Destruction (five 3/1's for five mana? Yes please!), Rakka Mar puts a 3/1 barbarian in for one mana, Godo is a living Agravated Assault for all of my tokens that gives them all +2/+2 (with the Konda's Banner that comes into play for free), and Roost puts a 5/5 barbarian with flying into play for when I need heavy hitters.
