Deck Description

Supposed to be a very fast deck that is very efficient against control especially. I don't like control decks (especially the slow lockdown ones), and i feel like decks like blue-white-red control have been winning too much. So if you want an efficient aggro deck to end the reign of control, you might want to try this, or make an aggro deck of your own.

How to Play

Without these a Gruul deck would be some crappy stack of cards.

Lots of mana ramp to get giant creatures (or ways to get your expensive creatures cheaply)
Some removal
A few cards to boost your creatures
Giant creatures

This deck has most of these things, especially mana ramp and giant creatures. If they are not enough, i added some removal and boost cards in my sideboard.
During the first few turns you would want to get a few quick starter cards to take the life out of your opponent, like zhur taa druid and vexing devil. Use misty rainforest and arid mesa to get your lands quickly or use elvish piper to get your large spells quickly. Domri rade and kessig wolf run helps, and i have some burn spells to get rid of my opponent's creatures (and some in my sideboard). Boborygmos is the finisher, where i either use him as an attacker or i use his discard a land ability. Any suggestions? I am debateing wheather i will switch overwhelming stampede with some other cards.

Deck discussion for Modern Gruul Midrange

This isn't really aggro. Your deck has a creature with a casting cost of 8. This is not really aggro. You should take out all of the creatures that cost more than 4 mana. Since you are running Vexing Devil, you should consider Brimstone Volley.

No problem. I would say your deck is midrange (it has some aggro and control aspects). I did not notice Elvish Piper in your deck. You can either have Stormbreath Drasgon, Rubblehulk, or Borborygmos Enraged out by turn 5, which is insane. Also, I like how you are using Plukranos.
